Yesterday was a bit of a blur - I had swimming first thing, then shopping (more yarn for Rob's Mum's scarf, only it turned out to be too varying a shade, so she'll have to have a slightly shorter one that's all the same colour), inventorying the parts for the greenhouse (turned out we were two window frame bits short), parcels to the post office and getting the base for the greenhouse filled in and levelled, although I only got half of it done.
Yesterday evening we built the back wall of the greenhouse and this evening the front one, only to hit another snag - the bolts they give you to hold the door-rail on aren't quite long enough. I spoke to a very nice chap at the Customer Services Department though and they're sending some out along with the window frame bits. Apart from these things, the new greenhouse seems a lot better designed and strongly constructed than the old one.
We've built the two walls in the lounge. Getting them outside is going to be....interesting. They may just fit out through the front door, but it'll be a tight fit and will involve diagonals. Failing that, we'll have to take them out of the patio door at the back and across next door's garden (we have right of access across there, fortunately).
Tomorrow I need to get the work on the ground under the greenhouse base finished - I didn't go down there today as it was quite literally blowing a gale.
