Autobiographical book, in which Tony impulse buys a house in the French Pyrenees. Naturally, complications ensue.
There are some laugh out loud moments and some interesting glimpses of French rural village life, but on the whole I didn't think this book was as good as the author's Round Ireland with a Fridge, possibly because it lacks the structure that the journey in Fridge gave to that book. This is more meandering and lacking direction, although still enjoyable.
