Cat kindly brought in a live mouse this evening. Clearly my training as a Mighty Hunter is progressing because after an hour or so of it lurking under the kitchen shelving, Salem flushed it out and I was able to catch it and send it back out to play in the garden.

Salem's probably still doing the cat equivalent of facepalming at his stupid human who caught a mouse but didn't eat it....
