Trying to find Oplontis

On the way back to the hotel from Herculaneum, we stopped off at Oplontis to see the excavated villa there. This is thought to have belonged to Poppaea Sabina, wife of the Emperor Nero.

Thanks are due to the Friends of Herculaneum Society for the directions on their web page on how to get to the excavations, which were very useful.
