Bulldog Drummond - The Black Gang by "Sapper"
I'm in two minds about this one. I knew it was written in the 1920's and so I expected it to be full of "isms", as indeed it is - sexism, racism (most particularly anti-Semitism) and classism (if that's even a word). But whereas I can normally regard these things as artefacts of the period when the book was written, this book seems infused with a sense of smug superiority that I found annoying and offensive.
Then again there's the question of morality. I'll put a cut here for plot spoilers just in case.
( Spoilers under here! )
