Just read the announcement that Faunasphere, an online game I've been playing for over a year, is closing down.
It's only pixels of course, but I had a lot of fun breeding my little animated pets, cleaning up pollution with them and building them nice places to live in. And on the 15th of next month it all goes poof :-(
They're offline now, but when (if?) they come back it's time to take souvenir pictures of all my little critters, I guess.
I shall miss them, even though they're only imaginary :-(

I recommend Zoo Tycoon (I think it's still available) for satisfying virtual critter care, if you need a replacement.
I wonder if Zoo Tycoon is availble for Mac? I shall investigate...
I hope you find something else you enjoy playing.
I may give Fishville a try later perhaps - thanks!
Bah!
And the waste of time issue is also a nuisance, isn't it?
I have a month before the game disappears forever, and in the meantime, I'm trying to hatch all my eggs and set the babies free :-)
