Today I started planting seeds again. Two sorts of tomatoes so far, cauliflower, broccoli (calabrese and purple sprouting) carrots, parsnips and sunflowers. Possibly other things that my silly brain has forgotten too.
I also potted up the brassica seedlings we rescued from the greenhouse wreck, but unfortunately their labels weren't rescued with them so I don't know what they are - I think they're either broccoli, purple broccoli or cauliflowers. Oh well, it'll be a surprise :-)
Since the module-planted parsnips worked pretty well last year, I'm repeating that and trying the same thing with carrots. I also need to fill the base of the old greenhouse with soil to make a raised bed for the expensive "Fly Away" carrots.
I've temporarily run out of compost now (I think there's another bag in the back garden) so I've come home for lunch, after which I shall make marmalade.
Tomorrow I plan to start planting some of the hardy seeds outside and filling the raised bed.
And since it's nearly Easter, here are some bunnies :-
