Full Metal Wheelbarrow

This weekend is the annual Melbourne Arts festival. I only spent a couple of hours there this afternoon, as Rob isn't feeling well - we'd normally spend most of the weekend trundling round Peering At Things together, so it felt quite odd to be going round alone.

As usual we enjoyed it hugely and bought lots of stuff.

I wish we had the money and the room for one of Duncan Thurlby's metal sculptures but at least we got to visit them in the lovely surroundings of the Dower House garden :-

We bought a lovely print of a wolf by Vic Bearcroft and an oil painting by Laura Donaldson as well as a photo of a bluebell wood by Terry Davies. Now we just have to see about frames...
