I seem to have failed utterly to post anything but book reviews for ages again.
Thursday was a fun day which was mostly taken up by trying to persuade my iMac to work properly. It had a sulking fit after I rebooted it and would only present me with a blank white screen, which was rather worrying. The thing that finally persuaded it to behave was disconnecting my iPod from it. Clearly they had been plotting against me, as, once separated, the iMac rebooted properly. I then installed Snow Leopard on it just because.
Friday was the last of my three blood pressure check appointments and good news - the nice nurse said my BP was well within the proper range "The Amlodipine is working!" she declared, whereupon I told her I was no longer taking that, only the Ramipril, which is even better.
Saturday was a pootling about doing not very much and watching the end of our two ebay auctions day. Rob went out cycling on Sunday and yesterday was again a pootly day, wherein I planted some anemones and iris bulbs ready for spring. We also watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Boredom part 1. Oh, OK, it wasn't that bad, but it seemed to go on for an awfully long time. At least they gave Hedwig a more heroic exit than in the book - I always thought it was deeply stupid to transport her in her cage.
Today I have a plethora of parcels to post. There might be some arriving too, including some new sensors for Baldrick the robot vacuum cleaner who seems to have gone daft again.
